ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The federal government has decided to launch a new campaign to deport all illegally residing foreign nationals, including Afghan citizens.

According to the Interior Ministry, Afghan nationals under trial will now be repatriated under Section 14-B of the Foreigners Act, and those who have completed their sentences or are facing cases will also be sent back.

The ministry stated that the validity of the Proof of Registration (PoR) cards expired on June 30, and any stay in Pakistan after that date is considered illegal.

Authorities have issued directives to arrest and deport all illegal foreign residents, with instructions sent to district administrations, police, prison authorities, and other relevant departments.
