Sharjeel Memon says President Asif Ali Zardari has strengthened democracy
TANDO JAM (Dunya News) – Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said President Asif Ali Zardari has strengthened democracy and made significant decisions pertaining to CPEC.
Speaking at a ceremony arranged to give ownership rights of houses to the flood-hit people in Tando Jam, the Sindh senior minister claimed that the Sindh government did not leave the flood affected villagers in the lurch, and distributed 21 lakh houses among them.
He said the man who did rule the country for over three years and five months did nothing for the welfare of the people, and built not a single house for people.
The senior minister mentioned, a distinctive feature of the scheme is that ownership rights were granted in the names of women to empower them and ensure stability within families.
He also mentioned that the govt would install solar panels on the houses of flood victims.
