ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – An anti-terrorism court on Thursday ordered the forfeiture of surety bonds for absent accused individuals in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest case from November 26.

Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra presided over the hearing regarding the case filed against PTI leadership and workers in connection with the November 26 protest.

The court instructed that notices be issued to the guarantors of those who failed to appear and also issued non-bailable arrest warrants for the absentees.

The court adjourned the hearing until July 31.

It is worth mentioning that terrorism-related charges were included in the FIRs lodged at Secretariat Police Station against PTI leaders and workers for their participation in the November 26 protest.
