All Pakistan Textile Mills Association protested against gas-cuts on Multan Road.

Aptma organized a protest rally over suspension of gas supply to Punjab industries for indefinite period at Manga Mandi on Multan Road.Large number of labourers and industrialists participated in the protest. Protestors were holding banners and posters with anti-gas cut slogans written on them.Aptma leadership, while addressing the rally, strongly criticized the gas suspension and demanded just distribution of gas across the country. They regretted that industrial sector was effecting badly due to unavailability of gas and more than 10 million laboures were deprived of livelihood.Aptma also announced to stage a sit-in outside the head office of Sui Northern Gas Pipe Lines. Heavy contingents of police were deputed outside the SNGPL head office after the announcement while routes to the office were cordoned off.
