Interpol to arrest Jamat Ali Shah: Malik

Rahman Malik Monday says Interpol's help will be sought to arrest Jamat Ali Shah.

The former commissioner of Pakistan Commission of Indus Water is accused of allowing India construct Baghliahar Dam without objecting to its design.Interior Minister Rehman malik said government was also investigating who helped Shah to escape from Pakistan.Taking to media, Malik said that the security situation has improved in Karachi due to the efforts of government.He said that the security forces have arrested many terrorists who were trying to enter the city.He said that the forces have recovered huge quantity of ammunition including suicide jackets from their possession.The minister said that overall peace situation has improved in the city and added that CID polices efforts were appreciable to bring back peace in Karachi.Terrorist activities are a conspiracy to stop foreign investment in Karachi, Malik said. --Online
