Flights, trains face severe delays due to dense fog

Fog has badly disrupted flights and trains schedule in the country.

Several PIA flights have landed at Karachi airport due to fog in other cities. On the other hand, trains will reach Lahore with a delay of over six hours.The flight operation started at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport at 8am. PK 264 from Abu Dhabi was rescheduled to arrive late in Lahore at 11:20am. PK 726 from Riyadh will arrive with a delay of three hours. The flight’s actual arrival time was 11: 30am. Both these flights were earlier diverted to Karachi due to fog in Lahore. Similarly, PK 203 from Lahore to Dubai took off late at 11am.Trains service, which is already encountering several problems, has also suffered delays due to fog. Trains to Lahore are reportedly late by minimum four hours. Karakuram Express from Karachi is late by four hours, Night Coach seven hours and Allama Iqbal Express five hours.
