QAU holds peace walk to express solidarity with Jaffar Express victims

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Quaid-e-Azam University organised a peace walk to express solidarity with the victims of Jaffar Express.
The National Institute of Psychology held the walk in which a large number of students took part.
The students held the placards and banners inscribed with the slogans of unity. They condemned the March 11 incident in which precious lives were lost.
The participants urged the government to take strict steps against the terrorists and their facilitators.
They expressed anger over the recent wave of terrorism in the country.
On March 11, the Baloch separatists attacked the Peshawar-bound Jaffar Express in Bolan, resulting in the killing of several civilians and officials. Following the attack, security forces took action, successfully rescuing the hijacked passengers. Nearly 50 militants were killed in the ensuing operation.
