Pakistan
The court scheduled the next hearing for April 18
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The District and Sessions Courts of Islamabad on Tuesday upheld the non-bailable arrest warrant for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in the audio leaks case.
The hearing for the audio leaks case against Ali Amin Gandapur took place in the District and Sessions Courts of Islamabad. The Chief Minister's lawyer, Raja Zahoor Hasan Advocate, appeared in court, while co-accused Asad Farooq was also present and marked his attendance.
The court maintained the previously issued non-bailable arrest warrant due to CM Gandapur's continued absence.
The hearing was adjourned without proceedings due to Additional Sessions Judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakar taking charge as the Sessions Judge and the absence of another judge's transfer to the relevant court.
The court scheduled the next hearing for April 18.
It must be noted that a case has been registered against Ali Amin Gandapur and Asad Farooq at the Golra Police Station.
