ISLAMABAD (Dunya News): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) have agreed to announce a joint course of action soon after consulting their respective leaderships.

According to a joint statement issued after a key meeting between leaders of both parties, it was decided that a final strategy would be presented to the public later this month following discussions with former prime minister Imran Khan and JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

The meeting was attended by PTI’s Secretary General Salman Akram Raja, former national assembly speaker Asad Qaiser, provincial president Junaid Akbar, MNAs Atif Khan and Aamir Dogar, and opposition alliance spokesperson Akhunzada Hussain Yousafzai. Representing JUI-F were Central General Secretary Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri and Senator Kamran Murtaza.
