Sanitization operation is in full swing to eliminate any other terrorist
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Security forces on Friday eliminated six terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Karak district.
The ISPR noted that a successful IBO was conducted on the reported presence of terrorists.
During the conduct of operation, troops effectively engaged the terrorists location. In an intense exchange of firing, six terrorists were eliminated.
According to army's media wing, sanitisation operation is in full swing to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.
In recent weeks, Pakistan has seen an uptick in terrorism with KP being the most affected region. In response, the security forces have launched targeted IBOs aganist the terrorists.
On Feb 17, security forces killed 30 terrorists during an IBO in the general area of Sararogha, South Waziristan.
The ISPR noted: “On 17 February 2025, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in general area Sararogha, South Waziristan District on the reported presence of Khwarij.”
During the conduct of operation, troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location, as a result of which, 30 Khwarij were killed.
