12 injured as Mayo Hospital ward lift collapses

LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least 12 persons, including three nurses, suffered injuries when Mayo Hospital’s Orthopaedic Ward lift malfunctioned and fell on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
The Mayo Hospital administration confirmed that technical malfunction caused the lift to fall. They also informed that three of the victims suffered bone fractures.
The injured persons were shifted to the emergency department of the hospital.
Meanwhile, the medical superintendent has ordered an immediate inquiry to ascertain the cause of the lift's collapse.
