Court dismisses plea to transfer Sapna case

Lahores Session Judge has dismissed Dost Khosas plea to transfer Sapna Khan Case to another court.

Former chief minister Punjab Dost Muhammad Khosa has submitted an application to Session Judge for transference of case from Additional Session Judge Ch Nazir. Dost Muhammad Khosa submitted through application that his case must be referred to another judge. During the hearing, counsel for Khosa and Sapna Khan’s lawyer exchanged harsh words with each other. Khosa’s lawyer alleged that Sapna Khan’s counsel is defaming his client through so-called judicial activism. Whereas, sapna Khan’s lawyer was of the view that Dost Khosa is pressurizing the court. Khosa’s lawyer requested the court that the case is in High Court therefore, all proceedings in lower court should be stopped but the court dismissed the plea after hearing the arguments.
