QUETTA (Web Desk) - Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Sunday reviewed the overall security situation after suicide blast at Quetta railway station.

They exchanged views about measures to protect lives and properties of people in the province.

Mohsin Naqvi said the entire nation stands united in the war against terrorism.

He said we would extend full cooperation to provincial government for ensuring peace in Balochistan.

Earlier on Saturday, the interior minister had expressed firm determination to eradicate scourge of terrorism from country.

Talking to media along with Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti at Civil Hospital in Quetta, he said terrorists would not be spared at any cost.

At least 26 people were killed and 56 others injured on Saturday as a result of a bomb blast at the Quetta Railway Station.

Five railway employees and four passengers including a woman were among dead.

The injured were shifted to the Quetta Civil Hospital where an emergency was declared.

Sources said the explosion took place just before a Quetta-bound Jaffar Express arrived where around 200 passengers were waiting.
