Says Quetta blast was blatant attempt to destabilise country
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Defence Minister Khawaja Asif on Saturday claimed that PTI founder was trying to get an NRO through Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
Talking to a private news channel, Khawaja Asif alleged that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) wanted to destabilise the country.
He criticised Gandapur for ‘attacking’ the federation twice to execute the game plan of former PTI chairman.
These actions of PTI were part of a broader strategy to destabilise the country, he added.
He condemned suicide blast in Quetta, calling it a cowardly act aimed at destabilising the country.
He emphasised that terrorists were targeting defence forces and installations, particularly in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
He stressed that the terrorists responsible for targeting innocent civilians should not be shown any mercy.
