PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Information Adviser, Barrister Dr. Saif, has demanded that the Election Commission immediately issue notifications for reserved seats.
In a statement, Barrister Saif expressed that further delays were unacceptable despite two clarifications from the higher judiciary.
He urged the Election Commission to stop procrastinating and to issue the notification without delay.
He criticised the Chief Election Commissioner for allegedly violating Article 6 in a bid to remain loyal to political interests, suggesting that actions should be taken against him for this and for contempt of court.
The provincial information adviser stated that one election commissioner was attempting to disregard the orders of eight judges through delaying tactics, undermining the constitution and law while the Sharif family continued to attack the higher judiciary repeatedly.
