PTI founder's sisters couldn't appear due to detention in Islamabad
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore on Tuesday extended interim bails of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Omar Ayub Khan and former federal minister Asad Umar in May 9 related cases.
Omar Ayub, Asad Umar, Aleema Khanum, Uzma Khan, Hafiz Farhat, Azam Swati, Bilal Ijaz and Ali Imtiaz requested exemption from hearing citing different reasons.
Ayub. Imtiaz, Ijaz and Umar cited health reasons while PTI founder’s sisters and Swati couldn’t appear before the court as they were detained in Islamabad following protest by the PTI in Islamabad on Oct 4.
Later, court extended interim bails till Oct 30.
