ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Foreign Office has condemned the attack on Chinese nationals and pledged to continue work with China till the complete elimination of terrorism.
Foreign office also stressed to strictly punish terrorists and their facilitators involved in this cowardly act. “This barbaric act will not go unpunished,” she assured.
FO Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch in her statement labelled terrorism activity an attack on Pakistan-China friendship.
She stated that two Chinese engineers died and one killed as a result of the attack in Karachi Airport and paid condolence to bereaved families of those affected in this attack.
Pakistan committed to continue cooperation with the Chinese till the eradication of the scourge of terrorism, FO spokesperson emphasised.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was in contact with the Chinese embassy and committed to ensure safety and security of both Pakistani and Chinese nationals.
It must be noted that the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) had claimed responsibility for the attack through a statement on social media.
