ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast that hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.

During the last 24 hours, hot and dry weather prevailed over most areas of the country. Dadu, Sibbi, Bahawalpur, Multan, Shaheed Benazirabad and Padidan remained the hottest cities in the country on Wednesday with temperature surging up to 42 degrees Celsius.
The Met Office recorded 18 degree centigrade in Islamabad, 27 in Lahore, 28 in Karachi, 22 in Peshawar, 16 in Quetta and Murree, 12 in Gilgit and 19 in Muzaffarabad degree centigrade.
