Haqqani prepares to move court against US magazine

Ex-ambassador of Pakistan to US, Hussain Haqqani has hired two lawyers to sue US magazine Newsweek.

US magazine Newsweek published an article of Pakistani-born US business man Mansoor Ijaz on December3. In which, Ijaz leveled serious allegations against Haqqani regarding memo scandal. Ijaz wrote that Haqqani was aware of Abbottabad operation against Osama Bin Laden.Haqqani, while refuting the allegations of Ijaz, has decided to move court. Haqqani has engaged Washington Attorneys Steven K Barrens and Arkenlay Webster who will sue against Newsweek. Haqqani has also written to the editor of the magazine that all allegations against him were false and baseless.
