Sindh to launch solar energy project for clean energy

KARACHI (Web Desk) - Sindh Solar Energy Project will be launched with the cooperation of the World Bank to take a step towards clean and green energy.
It was stated by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah while addressing a news conference in Karachi on Saturday.
The chief minister said all the government buildings and properties will be converted to solar power under this flagship project.

He said the step would not only cut the expenditure but would also help reduce carbon emissions.
The chief minister said the government would also provide solar panels to around two hundred thousand households under the project, which would help in dealing with ongoing electricity shortage and electricity bills crisis.
