NAROWAL (Dunya News) - Passengers are facing great inconvenience and unavailability of drinking water after Gepco suspended electricity supply to Narowal Railway Station over failure to pay Rs700,000 electricity bill.
With the suspension of power supply, the railway station plunged into darkness, leaving the passengers bereft of drinking water in hot and muggy weather.
They suffered great ordeal as the fans in waiting rooms and platforms stopped after the suspension of the power supply.
The passengers are without water due to the power outage. There is darkness everywhere in the station. With the unavailability of electricity, trains left the station without being filled with water.
