PM Shehbaz reaches Great Hall of the People

A reception will be hosted by the Chinese political leadership in honour of Prime Minister Shehbaz
BEIJING (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was accorded warm welcome when he reached the Great Hall of the People on Friday.
His Chinese counterpart Li Qiang welcomed Premier Shehbaz. He was presented a guard of honour by a contingent of the People's Liberation Army of China. On this occasion, national anthems of both the countries were played.
Prime Minister Shehbaz introduced Army Chief General Asim Munir, federal ministers Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Asif, Ahsan Iqbal and Atta Tarar to Premier Li.
Later, he will hold meeting with President Xi.
He will also meet with National People's Congress Standing Committee Chairman Zahao Liji.
The prime minister will attend the signing ceremony of MoUs between China and Pakistan on cooperation in various fields.
It may be recalled that Premier Shehbaz is on an official visit to China from June 4 to 8 at the invitation of President Xi.
