Fazl discusses political situation with Javed Hashmi

Both the veteran politicians were once considered close to Nawaz Sharif
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Senior politician Makhdoom Javed Hashmi on Sunday called on Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
Both the politicians discussed overall political situation of the country.
It merits mention here that both the veteran politicians were once considered very close to PML-N President Nawaz Sharif-whose party is nowadays ruling the centre and Punjab.
Maulana is on protest mode since the general elections held on Feb 8 this year. He has termed the elections as rigged while demanding fresh polls in the country.

The JUI-F chief is holding meetings with the leaders of the opposition parties in order to build pressure on the government.
Similarly, Javed Hashmi had also cast doubts over the elections held on Feb 8.
