Fazlur Rehman says JUI-F and PTI are two different political parties
BHAKKAR (Dunya News) - Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Friday said the JUI-F and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) were two different political parties and had their own narrative, Dunya News reported.
Speaking to reporters in Bhakkar, Maulana Fazl said "our narrative should not be linked with that of PTI".
He was of the view that responsibility to conduct the elections solely lied with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and there was no role of governments in it.
The JUI-F chief said those who had a role in holding the elections did nothing and the ones who have nothing to do with the polls played a key role in the Feb 8 general elections.
He said the general elections 2024 were rigged and his party was defeated through massive rigging.
Talking about his party’s alliance with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Fazlur Rehman said "when we will sit face to face with PTI, only then we will decide whether or not we can form an alliance".
