SC issues schedule for next week hearings

Supreme Court (SC) has issued roster for hearing the cases for the period November 21-25.

A larger 17-member SC bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry will take up for hearing NRO review petition on November 21. The hearing of NRO review petition with the inclusion of 4 new judges in SC bench is going to be held again after April.SC bench under CJP will also hear petitions on November, 21 in respect of rental power projects and law and order situation in Balochistan.Bench No 1 will comprise CJP Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and Justice Khilji Arif Hussain, Bench No 2 Justice Mir Shakir Ullah Jan, Justice Asif Saeed Khosa and Justice Gulzar Hussain, Bench No 3 Justice Tassadaq Hussain Jillani, JusticeSaqib Nisar and Justice Ejaz Afzal, Bench No 4 Justice Nasir ul Mulak and Justice Sarmad Jalal Usmani, Bench No 5 Justice Jawad S Khawaja and Justice Muhammad Athar Saeed, Bench No 6 Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali and Justice Ejaz Ahmad Chaudhry and Bench No 7 will be consisting of Justice Tariq Pervez and Justice Amir Hani Muslim.
