At least nine people, two women and a child among them, were killed in two separate road accidents.

The first incident took place near Shor Kot Cantt area where car-tractor collision killed four persons, injuring four others.The victims were going to attend a funeral prayer in the area.Injured persons have been shifted to Shor Kot Cantt Hospital where the injured are said to be in critical condition.Separately, a passenger coach, carrying at least 15 people, going to Wihari from Hasilpur fell in Bahawalpur canal when driver lost control over the vehicle due to over speeding.Four people, including two women and a child, were killed on the spot while 10 others sustained injuries. They have been shifted to nearby hospital.
