At least 26 militants were killed in an operation conducted by security forces in Orakzai Agency.

According to sources, the security forces on Tuesday proceeded towards Dabori, Gokamar and Shadala area and targeted six hideouts after which militants started to escape from the area.Atleast 20 others were reported to be wounded in the offensive.Orakzai is is made up of seven districts near the Afghan border.Security forces launched a major operation in the agency in March last year after militants fled a sweeping offensive in the nearby tribal district of South Waziristan.
