Siraj to decide on JI’s alliance with PTI, says spox
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Jamaat-e-Islami has given the final authority to decide on the alliance with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to its chief Sirajul Haq.
According to a spokesperson for the JI, the party’s Majlis-e-Shura [central council] has given its chief the final authority on the alliance with the PTI.
Joint meetings of the committees of the PTI and the JI had already taken place, he added.
The spox said that the Majlis-e-Shura had been briefed in detail by the party's committee, and now the JI chief would announce the final decision in this regard.
