(Dunya News) – PMLN leader Shehbaz Sharif Friday phoned Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQMP) convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and discussed post-election political situation in the country, Dunya News reported.
According to MQMP sources, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui will have a meeting with Shehbaz Sharif soon and discuss political situation in the country.
Meanwhile, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQMP) convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has said his party will not let democracy derail in the country and help form a government.
Speaking at a special election broadcast of a TV channel, the MQMP convener said reforms were needed to ensure rights of 23 crore people instead of merely 23 political families.
He said there is a crisis of commitment and resolution in Pakistan, not economic, there is a lack of confidence in the country, not commercial.
He said Pakistan does not need such democracy that could not benefit the common man, adding his party will help form a government, and will not let democracy derail.
