Pakistan dispatches 5th tranche of humanitarian assistance for Gaza
(Web Desk) – Pakistan on Sunday dispatched the 5th tranche of humanitarian assistance for Gaza, reaffirming the country’s ongoing commitment to supporting the oppressed Palestinians.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the succour, comprising winterised tents, tarpaulins and blankets, was sent via PAF C-130.
“The flight will land in Al-Arish, Egypt, where the Pakistani Ambassador will receive the aid for onward delivery,” the MOFA stated in a post on its official X handle.
“This ongoing support underscores Pakistan’s continued commitment to addressing urgent humanitarian needs of the people of Gaza,” it added.

According to reports, the send-off ceremony at the at Nur Khan Airbase was witnessed by officials of the MOFA, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Pakistan Air Force and representatives of Al Khidmat Foundation.
The NDMA has also coordinated a sixth flight scheduled to carry 100 tonnes of humanitarian assistance from Karachi on Feb 6.
