ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The commercial flight operations between Pakistan and Iran have been operationalized.

The aerial traffic has been normalized after restoration of diplomatic ties between Pakistan and Iran.

According to Aviation officials, a flight from Tehran bound to Lahore with one hundred passenger has been landed safely.

The flight operations have been suspended after diplomatic constraint between neighbouring countries.

The rift erupted when Tehran violated the country’s sovereignty by firing a missile in Balochistan, resulting in the tragic death of two children and injuries to three girls on Jan 17.

Pakistan expelled Iran’s ambassador and broke diplomatic relation and launched strikes on terrorists’ hideouts inside Iran on Thursday, in a retaliatory attack two days after.

However, two days ago, Pakistan and Iran have de-escalated tensions by restoring diplomatic relations.
