Social media platforms face countrywide disruption
(Web Desk) - Internet outages on Saturday evening affected internet services and social media platforms across the country.
The users reported connection errors and disruptions saying that almost all the social media platforms didn't work.
Netizens expressed frustration over difficulties connecting to platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. The X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram users have also expressed such concerns.
Google browsing and the internet service providers also experienced disruptions.
As of now, the cause of the outage remains unclear, with no statement from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) at the time of this report.
