Humiliated Bilour announces resignation yet again

Railways Minister Ghulam Ahmed Bilour has announced resignation citing humiliation by government.

During a session of the federal cabinet, the railways minister accused the fiancé ministry of dilly-dallying on the issues of funds for the railways. Bilour said that he had enough humiliation and could not carry on as minister railways. When Bilour got up to leave the session, two other ministers pleaded with him to sit down.The railways minister said he has never been disgraced as much as he has been since taking over the railways.It’s the second time the rail minister, who is accused of derailing the railways financially, has talked of resigning. He didn’t resign the last time he made a similar announcement weeks ago.The railways in said to be in dire straits as trains continue to stay behind schedule due to proclaimed non-availability of engines and diesel, while rail pensioners and staff is without payments for months now.Meanwhile, the PM has called a special meeting on the railways crises after protest by Bilour.
