PMD forecasts dense fog for plains, chilly conditions for upper regions
ISLAMABAD (APP) – Cold wave will grip most parts of the country, including the upper regions, north Balochistan and the northern areas over the next 24 hours, according to the weather forecast from the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
As per the synoptic situation, a trough of a westerly wave is currently present over the western parts of the country and may persist in the upper regions until Tuesday morning.
Mainly cold and cloudy weather is expected in most of the upper regions, with very cold conditions in the northern areas and north Balochistan.
Dense fog/smog is likely to persist in the plains of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh.
