LAHORE (Dunya News) - Four siblings were burnt to death as a horrible fire erupted in a house at Lahore’s Ichhra area.  

The fire broke out at fifth storey of a building in Chowk Baba Azam area of Ichhra in the wee hours of Friday.

The deceased were identified as 12-year-old Iman, 8-year-old Noor, 4-year-old Ibrahim, and 2-year-old Ismail. 

The rescue teams immediately reached the spot and brought the fire under control. The police and forensic teams were also there to ascertain the cause of fire.

Meanwhile, caretaker chief minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident and prayed for the aggrieved family.

He also sought a report of the incident and ordered investigation of the tragedy.
