Senate science committee members protest

Senates body for Science and Technologys head and members protested against their selection.

The head and members of the said body said they have been included in the committee against their will.They said that they were unaware of the ABC of science and technology and physical fields of knowledge and wisdom. Despite, the establishment put them in the committee.The committee session was held in Islamabad where Akber Magsi was in the chair. The committee members also protested against calling of the session after a lapse of two years.The chairman and the members were of the view that they had been included in the committee against their will.The Secretary for Science and Technology briefed the committee that vast reservoirs of coal lie in Pakistan out of which electric power could be generated. Dr Samar Mubarak is working on the project.
