LHC summons CCPO over contempt of court on Khadija Shah's plea

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday summoned the capital city police officer of Lahore on charges of implicating Khadija Shah in another case.
LHC judge Ali Baqar Najafi summoned the senior police officer of Lahore in response to a contempt of court petition filed by Khadija Shah, a prominent fashion designer. She filed the petition against the police officers over arresting her in another case related to May 9.
The CCPO was summoned by the court in personal capacity on Oct 27.
Issuing the written order, the judge observed that the reply submitted by the CCPO Lahore through the state counsel was unsatisfactory.
