Lahore commissioner imposes section 144 to tackle smog

Lahore, Nankana Sahib, Sheikhupura and Kasur will face the restrictions
(Dunya News) – The divisional administration Lahore has imposed section 144 across the division including Lahore, Nankana Sahib, Sheikhupura and Kasur to control smog.
The section 144 has been imposed following the direction of the commissioner Lahore. Action will be taken against the people who will put tyres, polyethene, solid waste, rubber and leather on fire and trolleys plying on roads without covering the roofs.
Similarly, the owners and contractors will also face the music after imposition of section 144 in case of putting the crops and residue of crops on fire.
