Taimur Jhagra, Kamran Bangash granted interim bails in Illegal recruitments, corruption case

Court defers hearing of the case till October 9

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – An anti-corruption court on Thursday granted interim bails to former provincial ministers Kamran Khan Bangash and Taimur Jhagra.

Former minister Jhagra and Bangash appeared in court in Illegal recruitments, corruption case.

Sessions judge Ashfaq Taj conducted hearing of the case in absence of anti-corruption court judge who was on leave.

Granting interim bails to Jhagra and Bangash, the sessions judge asked both the former ministers to furnish surety bonds of Rs90,000 each.

The court then deferred hearing of the case till October 9.

Sources said Bangash and Jhagra were charged with making illegal recruitments and committing corruption.

High court had asked both of the former ministers to approach the courts concerned.

Both the leaders were in hiding since May 9 events, however, they appeared in public from hiding after high court ordered authorities not to arrest them.
