Karachi: 25-kg bomb recovered, defused

Police has recovered and defused a 25-kg bomb fitted in a sports car in Gulistan-e-Johar.

According to police officials, police and bomb disposal squad were called on information of a bomb fitted in a red sport car parked outside a private hospital in Gulistan-e-Johar in the jurisdiction of Shah Faisal police station.Bomb disposal squad found two wires protruded out from the battery of the car which was filled with explosive and discovered. The bomb disposal squad promptly defused the bomb and averted the area from a huge destruction.Police authorities said that the bomb was of 25 kg weight and can cause a heavy devastation. The police has transferred the bomb to the police station and started investigation.
