“We express solidarity with the government and people of Turkey. Thank God, there has been no major loss of life. Terrorists are the common enemy of humanity. The whole world has to take decisive action together against the handlers and financiers of terrorists,” Shehbaz said in a statement released here.

He said the United Nations and the Security Council should consider countering terrorism and taking action against their handlers. An international investigation is needed to find out who is behind the incidents of terrorism. The Islamic world needs to formulate a joint strategy against this scourge from the platform of the OIC (Organisation of Islamic Cooperation).

Shehbaz said that there was a certain pattern in terrorism, suicide attacks. The murder of a Sikh leader in Canada is another proof of the seriousness of the problem and sponsorship of terrorism.
