Four women activists were rearrested in another Jinnah House attack case
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The investigation wing of Lahore Police rearrested four women activists of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) moments after they were released from the Kot Lakhpat Jail.
An anti-terrorism court (ATC) had earlier ordered to release nine women activists hailing from PTI who were detained in connection with the Jinnah House attack case.
According to reports, four PTI women activists were rearrested soon after their release from the jail.
Those who were arrested again included Sanam Javed, Shah Bano, Afshan Tariq and Ashma Shuja. All four PTI women activists were arrested from outside the Kot Lakhpat Jail soon after they were released.
The police said that the PTI women activists were arrested in another case related to May 9 attack, which was registered with the Sarwar Road police station.
All four PTI activists have been shifted to the police station for further investigation.
