Karachi: More than 20 PPP MPs meet at Khurshid Shahs residence

An exclusive meeting of more than 20 MPs of PPP was held at Khurshid Shahs residence in Karachi.

Pakistan People party’s five ministers and more than 15 members of Sindh Assembly has attended an exclusive meeting at the residence of Federal Minister Khurshid Shah in DHA Karachi.According to sources, the members of Sindh Assembly were together to consider the political situation of the province after the acceptance of Zulfiqar Mirza’s resignation.The meeting has continued for many hours. Member Sindh Assembly Nasrullah Baloch said that some friends were invited at the dinner and the impression about rift in PPPP is not right.Member Sindh Assembly Javed Shah has said that Asif Ali Zardari is our President and Co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarian. Political friends will discuss politics when they will be together, he said. He also said that Dr Zulfiqar Mirza was also present in the dinner party.It was not a meeting regarding local bodies system however; we have strong reservations on the Local Bodies Bill presented by MQM, Javed Shah said.
