Pakistan always believed in giving importance to brotherly relations with Iraq, says Rana Sanaullah
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and Iraqi Ambassador Hamid Abbas Lafta expressed on Friday their determination to promote economic cooperation between the two countries.
Lafta met Sanaullah, during which the interior minister made it clear that Pakistan always believed in giving importance to its brotherly relations with Iraq.
Sanaullah went on to say that relations between the two countries were based on religious and common values.
"Pakistan can provide facilities to the Iraqi police officers in the field of forensics," he maintained.
The interior minister appreciated the efforts of the Iraqi envoy to promote the relationship between Pakistan and Iraq.
Lafta invited the interior minister to visit Iraq.
