Indian journalists visit Dunya News, underline bilateral ties

Pak-India journalists have underlined concerted efforts for resolution of bilateral issues.

A delegation of journalists from Chandigarh, India, visited Dunya News Head Office in Lahore. The Indian journalists visited various departments and sections of Dunya News, and appreciated the excellent technical and journalistic capabilities of the TV.The Indian journalists are visiting Lahore on the invitation of the Lahore Press Club.On the occasion, Dunya News Chief Operating Officer Naveed Kashif and Director Operations Sohail Noor apprised the Indian journalists of the trend-setting role of Dunya News in the field of journalism.Talking to the delegation, Naveed Kashif said the journalists of Pakistan and India should benefit from each other’s experience.Salman Ghani, Dunya TV Bureau Chief in Lahore, said that the contentious issues between the two countries could be resolved through active and responsible journalism.Chandigarh Press Club President Naveen S Garewal said that if the United States and Russia could end the cold war, why India and Pakistan can’t end their differences and embark on the journey to progress.Lahore Press Club President Sarmad Bashir underlined the importance of interaction between the journalists of both countries.
