FM Bilawal feels honoured to lead MOFA

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Tuesday said the government wants to have good relations with the world.

Addressing the event organised to honour the ambassadors, Bhutto-Zardari remarked, "I have travelled to many countries as the foreign minister. We want good relations with all the neighbours of the country."

Bhutto-Zardari said: "During the COP27 climate conference, the friendly countries had promised to extend support to Pakistan. I would like to thank the friendly countries for helping Pakistan in the difficult situation".

"After the general elections, the country will experience political stability. The political stability will bring economic stability in the country," Bhutto-Zardari added.

He said: "Pakistan has successfully signed agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). China, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Saudi Arabia had helped Pakistan in this regard".

It is a a matter of honour for me to lead the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), Bhutto-Zardari continued.

Separately on Monday, Bhutto-Zardari paid homage homage to Shahnawaz Bhutto. He said that the country will always remember the struggle and sacrifice of Shahnawaz Bhutto for democracy, who was truly a symbol of revolutionary thinking and vision among the youth of the country.

"Being an elder sister, the grief and sorrow of the tragic separation of her younger brother always remained like an unhealed wound in the heart of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto," he added.
