Khawaja Asif said that the PTI chief promoted the culture of filthy language in the country

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif said on Sunday the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief was responsible for negative tendencies in youth and politics in Pakistan.

Speaking to a private television channel on Sunday, Asif said the PTI chief promoted the culture of filthy language in the country during four-year period of the PTI government.

PTI leaders were found involved in attacking national institutions including security, he said. The government, he said, would take action against those PTI workers and leaders who were found guilty of crime in May 9 incident.

To a question, he said the PTI chief passed the order of dissolution of assemblies in Punjab and KP. He said the PTI chief refused to play the role of opposition leader after dissolving the assemblies. He said the PTI leader damaged the economy during the four-year period.

As for next elections, he said the tenure of the coalition government would be finished after one month and the caretaker set-up would take measures for holding general elections.

He hoped that the PML-N would win the next elections with the support of the people and also pledged that the party after forming the government would continue public welfare projects under the guidance of Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif.
