Nasir wants no leniency towards May 9 miscreants
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Minister for Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah on Thursday said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief believes in self-serving politics.
Speaking to the media, Shah recalled the events that transpired on May 9, saying, "Attacking the military installations is condemnable. The country greatly needs an army."
"There is no need for leniency towards the May 9 rioters," he added.
Speaking about the meeting of the leaders of the ruling coalition in Dubai, Shah said: "It is good that the bigwigs are meeting in Dubai. The meetings provide insight into politics".
In line with the fiscal budget for 2023–24, Shah said, "Considering the ongoing situation of the country, the budget is okay."
He added the government was making every effort to address the country's numerous issues.
