Agent was involved in sending money to Libya
GUJRAT (Web Desk) - The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Monday arrested another agent involved in the migrant boat tragedy in Greece.
The FIA claimed to have arrested the agent in Gujrat and said he used to send money to the main agents in Libya. The agent originally hails from Wazirabad.
The suspect was arrested after the identification by the affected families while further investigation is under way to apprehend the human traffickers.
A day earlier, the FIA had arrested the main agent, Sajid Mehmood, at the Karachi airport. He was trying to flee to Azerbaijan as he was involved in sending Pakistanis to Libya illegally.
The tragic incident of boat capsizing took place a couple of days ago in which 700 people were on board.
As many as 298 Pakistanis including 135 from AJK have lost their lives. The nation is mourning the deadliest incident and prayers are being offered for the bereaved families.
