PML-N government is government of traders: Sanaullah
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said on Saturday the government would solve traders’ problems on priority basis.
Addressing traders’ fraternity, he said he would ensure that the city’s administration would solve their problems. “We’ll request the federal government for support if needed,” he added.
He went on to say that all PML-N governments were termed as “the governments of traders”, adding that the country was faced with loadshedding and terrorism in 2013. “Investors were not even ready to visit the country to ink agreements,” he added.
The PML-N government, he said, made the CTD and laced it with ample resources. “As for the loadshedding, the country’s electricity production exceeds demand even today,” he added.
Traders are the first line of defence in the PML-N’s fight for victory, he said. “This line of defence was compromised in 2018,” he added.
The minister said former PM used to threaten public officers, adding that he committed civil disobedience multiple times. “PML-N suprmo Nawaz Sharif was wiped out of the way,” he added.
He continued by saying that the opposition in 2018 asked former PM to sign “charter of economy” on various occasions, adding that the country’s economy dilapidated in PTI government’s tenure. “Petrol prices will increase as the former government failed to ink the agreement with the IMF,” he added.
What did former PM do except mongering hate during four years in power, he asked. “May 9 events were orchestrated with proper planning,” he added.
